Frontiers Wild Days & Camps

In an age of video games, urbanisation & rising obesity, Frontiers brings back the spirit of adventure. We teach children to take risks in a safe environment, taking them out into the woods to get mucky, to learn, and to have lots of fun.

We run exciting, educational events for children in our beautiful beech woods - for less than the cost of child care!

• Half day, full day & overnight camps, tailor-made for specific age groups, running all year round
• Educational & creative activities, such as: survival skills, tree & plant identification, wild crafts, magical quests, fantastic games, exploring nature, watching wildlife, silent stalking, making fire, extraordinary night games, campfire songs and much more...

All profits from our Wild Days go towards running New Horizons, our alternative curriculum for disadvantaged teenagers.

Exciting action packed days for our slightly younger survivalists! Make a cosy den in the woods with materials from the forest, have lunch around a campfire, play woodland games and learn how to survive from the earth in our wild woods.

Can you create a really snug den in the woods? Light a fire with only flint and steel? Is it possible to feel at home with no TV? Come and explore the world of the woods - there are games to play, creatures to meet and stories to tell.

Savages in the Woods

Make a survival camp and learn all you need to exist happily in nature: fire-making skills, natural string making, recognising common plants - their uses and healing properties, carving a spoon and brewing a wild food tea. Lots of games and adventures mixed in.

Stalking Wolves

Come and find the inhabitants of our woods. Tracking, animal signs and learning to recognise and read the earth under our feet. Great for expert hide and seekers. Come home with your own plaster cast animal print!
