Effective programmes which deliver powerful results

Powerful one to three-day programmes which develop teamwork, leadership skills, confidence and communication skills.

We tailor-make each activity, with a different focus for each Key Stage.

Intensives

Groups often use our activities to establish team building at the beginning of a key stage or new school year, to embed classroom learning, or as a group celebration for the end of the year.

Some examples of our intensives are:

  • Year Group Events
    • Woodland Team Challenge
      A fun day in the woods, which builds teamwork & self-awareness (KS4/5)
    • Presentation Skills (KS4/5)
      Confidence-building and presentation training
    • Learning Styles and Goal Setting (KS4/5)
      Powerful techniques to set goals and move forwards.
    • Introduction to Bushcraft (KS1/2/3/4/5)
      Firelighting, shelter-building, tracking, tools and more.
    • Sustainable Enterprise (KS3/4/5)
    • Covert Operations (KS4/5)
      A two-day competitive, scenario-based learning experience, which foster individual and team strengths.
    • High Peaks (KS4)
      A boost for older pupils who are losing focus, this dynamic three phase intervention has been designed to engage pupils in year 10 / 11 who are becoming disaffected or disruptive in the classroom.

      PHASE 1 - CHALLENGE DAY - (2 hours on your site or ours)
      A set of fun challenges that provide opportunities to build rapport, identify goals and contract for Phase 2.
      PHASE 2 -WOODLAND ADVENTURE (a full day at our beautiful woodland site) Self-reliance, teamwork, overcoming obstacles and choice making activities equip pupils with enhanced skills to develop more effective strategies for learning.
      PHASE 3 - TELL THE WORLD (half day back at school)
      Pupils get the opportunity to consider how others perceive them and the labels
      they carry; celebrate their achievements from Phases 1 and 2; bring images, emotions and experiences from the earlier phases to create a presentation or movie montage to share with others (parents, class, year group or school). This activity helps young people form a strong positive self-image which helps them to re-engage at school. Further days by request. Flexible time scales ensure this effective intervention fits neatly around your current timetable commitments
  • Overnight Camps
    • Woodland Camp
      Build a shelter, make a fire, track animals and cook over the fire.
    • Canoe Expedition
      An exciting 2-day adventure in the river, including bushcraft training, e.g. shelter building, tracking & camouflage
